2nd International Conference on Hangul and Other Threatened Ungulate Conservation

We, at Sher-E-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-Kashmir), are organizing the 2nd International Conference on Hangul and Other Threatened Ungulate Conservation, 2025 (2IHUC-25). The conference will be held at the Shalimar Convention Centre, SKUAST-Kashmir, Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India.

This event is proudly organized under the banner of the International Support and Alliance for Central Asian Red Deer (Hangul).

Aim of the Conference

This conference aims to address  key management challenges for the  conservation and long term  survival of the critically endangered Hangul deer in India,  its close relatives  Bukhara/Bactrian, and Yarkand deer in central Asia  as well as  other threatened ungulates worldwide. It provides a platform for global experts to share research, discuss strategies, and enhance conservation planning and management.
